Scarf Festival opening 2011

My entry in this year's scarf festival- Red/orange/pink bubble scarf.

It was very tricky to take a non- blurry photo as all the scarves were constntly spinning around on bent LP records. There was a lot of close inspection of the entries.

There are some beautiful works on display.

I'm not sure the records used for display did justice to some of the entries especially the fine and lace weight scarves, but there are some beautiful pieces and it is well worth a trip to Geelong during July to have a look.

Bubblewrap Exhibition

My exhibition is now finally set up after my carefully selected branches disappeared, only to be discovered ' tidyed' into the compost heap by an over enthusiastic gardener!!

The exhibition runs from the 25th of June until the 30th of July 2011, so if you are in the western suburbs of Melbourne call in and have a look: Hunt Club Community Arts Centre 775 Ballarat Rd Deer Park,

Hours: Mon. - Thurs. 9am -7:30pm (5:30pm during school holidays)

Fri. 9am - 4:30pm

Sat. 9am - 12:30pm

closed public holidays.

Only two weeks until my exhibition opens!!
