It is on its way!

My entry for the 2012 Scarf Festival at the Geelong Wool Museum is finally complete and in the mail on its way to the exhibition. After investing in a huge 15 litre dye pot that was big enough to submerge the scarf in dye and simmering for 40mins, the real hard work started as I hand felt all my work. This was not helped by my tiny kitchen with no room for the 3.5m+ length!! After felting, the scarf measures 290cm- so is still long enough to wrap up in a soft bubbly cloud of colour. The exhibition runs from 16th of June until 2nd of September- put it in your diary!!
